Red Bird Photography is a proud volunteer for Operation: Love Reunited. For information on this wonderful organization please go to Operation: Love Reunited. This is our way of giving back to the proud men and women who serve in defense of our country. Their sacrifice is the ultimate one and we are forever grateful.
If you or a loved one is deploying, please contact us for more information. If you decide you would like to use our studio for your Operation: Love portrait session, please fill out and return the required forms which you can obtain once your session is confirmed. We ask that if, for any reason, you are unable to make it to your session that you contact us. In the event you are unable to make it to your session, we can offer a session to someone else participating in the Operation: Love program.
FAQ
WHAT’S THE CATCH?
There is no catch. There are no hidden fees and no minimum purchases. Your studio session is complimentary and your deployed spouse will receive a 4″x6″ album with up to 24 images.
Reunion session participants will also receive a complimentary session and a 4″x6″ album.
Digital files are NOT included. As an OpLove participant, should you decide later that you would like to make a purchase, you are entitled as well to receive a 10% discount.
IS THERE A COST TO PARTICIPATE?
There is a nominal deposit of $25 which will either be refunded to you after your session is completed or applied towards an order if you so desire to make a purchase after the process is completed. If you don’t show up for your appointment, your deposit will not be refunded. There is also a travel fee of $50 if you wish to go on location for your session; this is not refundable.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE THE PROOFS?
We are an extremely busy studio with a lot of regular clients as well as a lot of OpLove participants. The process from start to finish can take anywhere from four to six weeks. Sometimes, we can turn things around sooner but it depends on the time of year.
WHAT DO WE WEAR?
Ok, since this is a military-themed session, your active duty spouse must wear their uniform for some of the pictures. If this is a “during deployment” session, you can bring a flag or other uniform item belonging to your spouse to include in the photos. For pre-deployment sessions, you are also welcome to bring a change of clothes so that your spouse can match with you and the rest of the family once the uniform shots are done.
WE WANT TO BOOK A SESSION, WHAT’S THE NEXT STEP?
Great! Please go to the contact page of this website or call the number listed at the bottom of this page. We do not respond to comments posted in the Comment section of this site. Once we confirm everything, you’ll receive the forms necessary for you to participate.
